Oreo fans have been gifted with a whole lot of ways to get their cookie fix lately — first came State Fair Oreos, then the announcement about Oreo coffee creamer. In September, a full-on Oreo explosion is coming to Sonic. In the meantime, Baskin-Robbins is here to fill the ice cream gap (you know, for those who are over basic cookies and cream) by bringing back a fan favorite Oreo flavor.
Baskin’s Flavor of the Month, Oreo ‘n Cake, combines cake-flavored ice cream with Oreo cookie pieces and a chocolate cake batter-flavored swirl … think of it as a cake batter-cookies and cream hybrid.
This isn’t Baskin-Robbins first step into Oreo ice creams — in the past, they’ve had Oreo ‘n Caramel, Oreo Nutty Salted Caramel, Jamoca Oreo, and Golden Oreo ‘n Churro (*AHEM please bring that back) flavors in stores.
New to Baskin-Robbins this month is a sorbet-ice cream hybrid that’s geared toward fruit fans. The Blackberry Hibiscus ice cream is made with blackberry ice cream, blackberry hibiscus ice, and a blackberry ribbon.
