Maciel’s Tortas & Tacos will open a third location in 2024.
The new taqueria will be located at 3397 Summer Ave., near the intersection of Summer and Highland.
Maciel’s owner Manuel Martinez said the new restaurant will be a taqueria, specializing in tacos only. The shop will be open late night and serve a Mexican brunch on Saturday and Sunday.
Maciel’s menu features made-to-order tacos, tortas, quesadillas and nachos. They are known for the crispy Fried Tacos, their signature version of hard tacos made with in-house fried shells.
