Having entered its 9th year since the first time it was held in 2009, the Jakarta Culinary Feastival event has now become very popular. What started as a Eureka moment with them who shared the same feeling towards the culinary world became one of Jakarta’s biggest food event.
According to Christian Rijanto, the Co-Founder of Ismaya Group who is the main sponsor of this event, the idea behind Jakarta Culinary Feastival is that they want to share the excitement whether it’s trying your first gourmet, tasting food prepared by Michelin star chefs or enjoying favorite street food that make you comfortable.
Featuring over 50 leading F&B brands, Jakarta Culinary Feastival reunites the best of restaurateurs, mixologists, masterchefs, baristas and pastry chefs that will indulge everyone’s cravings by presenting their signature dish, and even one-off dishes you can find exclusively in Jakarta Culinary Feastival during workshop sessions and Chef to Table stage.

There are Michelin starred chefs. There are 54 world’s leading culinary stars who are ready to teach tips and cooking skills for culinary enthusiasts.
Eelke Plasmeijer, owner of Locavore Restaurant in Bali, which is one of Asia’s best restaurants, is one of the chefs who shared his gastronomic experience. There is also Masterchef Australia 2017 Runner-up Ben Ungerman, owner of Beau Bakery Talita Setyadi, celebrity chef Bara Pattiradjawane and Ririn Marinka, television host “Makan Besar” Ragil Imam Wibowo, and author of more than 90 cooking books Sisca Soewitomo.
Located across South Lobby of Senayan City, Fork Tent is home to all things dessert, coffee, and a market place showcasing businesses relating to the culinary world including food suppliers, culinary schools, and kitchen equipments, amongst many. Our Masterclasses and free workshops take place inside the Fork Tent, as well as other numerous feastivities.
On the other side of Senayan City is the Spoon Tent that houses some of the finest selections of restaurants and the celebrated Go-Food Festival featuring 20 of the most favorite Go-Food partners in town. Feastivities happening inside the Spoon Tent include our signature Chef’s Table experience, talk shows, cooking demos, bar takeovers, music performance, and more.

To enter the Spoon Tent and Fork Tent is free of charge and is open from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. Prices of food and beverages vary from ten thousand rupiah to hundreds of thousands of rupiah. Some booths provide free samples, ranging from a sip of coffee to piece of Wagyu.
Yoke Yuliana, an employee of Publishing Company, really enjoyed this event while visiting it on Friday (2/11/2018). “I like coming here. Earlier I tried the Lawless burger, it tastes very good. The size is also large, can be eaten by both,” she said.
