Delhi Tourism Department to Hold Food Fest From March 10

NEW DELHI: Delhi Tourism is organising a three-day food festival that will witness a confluence of Indian as well as international cuisine from March 10 at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium.

To make the event more attractive, cultural programmes will also be organised by Sahitya Kala Parishad for entertainment of visitors. Prominent musical groups – Indian Ocean, Mrigya and Parikrama will give their performances on March 10, 11 and 12 respectively.

The food festival, said officials, is a part of initiatives taken by the department to promote tourism in the capital. “The Delhiites will get an opportunity to relish delicacies from around the country and international cuisine under one roof at three day Delhi Tourism Food Festival,” the tourism department said in a statement.

“This extravaganza would create awareness about international and Indian food delicacies and provide knowledge on nutritional value and preparation,” the statement added.
