A Belfast bakery is to host a ‘big gay cake sale’ to help fund The Rainbow Project.
The event is planned for Saturday, November 10 at the Black Box.
It will take place alongside Outburst Arts who are also planning a number of free events at the venue.
A post on Facebook said: “J oin The Lily Pink Bakery at The Black Box on Saturday 10th November to buy cake and raise loads of money for The Rainbow Project .
“We will be running a cake stall alongside Outburst Arts who have free events on at the Black Box throughout the day and have kindly offered us this opportunity to raise money for a great cause.
“We will be running a cake stall selling cupcakes and cake slices and every penny made will be donated to The Rainbow Project to help them continue their great work serving the LGBTQ+ community in Northern Ireland.”
Those who can’t make it on the day after being offered the chance to buy a PDF file of the bakery’s rainbow cake recipe for £2.
