And thanks to the Instagram and TikTok account @costcobuys, we now know that a Coscto favorite has recently returned to the store. That fan fave is their Chocolate Chip Ricotta, which is described as a “Creamy Dessert Cheese with Chocolate.”
“Chocolate Chip Ricotta dessert cheese is at Costco! This cheese is versatile and delicious…chocolate ricotta pancakes anyone?!” they wrote in the TikTok caption.
The unique ricotta cheese will set you back $13.89 per pound. And despite its popularity, the product has been met with some mixed reviews from consumers.
“This is peak america – how can they do this to Ricotta?” questioned one user in the comments section of @costcobuys’ Instagram video. “One this sounds amazing!!!! Anyone commenting negatively is not Italian lol,” another user wrote.
